After our third season at Camp Ocawasin in West Milford, N.J. it has become like home.
We have been able to take advantage of the 5-acre lake for swimming, boating and fishing. The campers just love it! There are game rooms in the cabins that have air hockey tables, foosball, nok-hockey and board games as well as a TV for those rainy days to watch movies.
The large open fields & courts lend themselves to some great kickball tournaments, basketball and soccer games. The main lodge is a great place for the kids to assemble for indoor activities. Watch great movies, work on arts and crafts, have a limbo contest and learn some new dances. Talent shows are an excellent way for campers to show off their skills. From nature walks to boat races our new home has been a great success popular with both campers and staff alike.
What a way to spend the summer!

TRIPS UPDATE!!
This year YPDC has gone on several exciting day trips. We have visited Wild West City, Space Farms, Turtleback Zoo, roller skating, bowling and the New Jersey Jackals baseball game.
Looking ahead to 2008 we are excited about returning to the new Liberty Science Center.
