Keith
has been the Executive Director for the past
four years of YPDC-SI. Keith has worked his
way through the system first as a camper, then
a counselor, then a Division leader and now
a Director. He is a former New Jersey School
teacher and Major League Baseball Player for

My
name is Heather Barron and I have worked
at Young Peoples Day Camp now for five years.
I am a Catholic school teacher here in Staten
Island for the passed two years, and before that
I worked for the Board of Education. I have completed
my Bachelor degree, and I am currently working
towards my Masters in Education. The past five
years at Y.P.D.C have been the some of the best
years of my life. The whole camp experience is
both fun and rewarding for the staff, as well
as the campers. I enjoy being apart of the excitement
.I love to see the expression on the campers face,
when they go on all the exciting trips that we
have planned. Well I hope to see all the old faces
of my campers and I look forward to meeting a
lot of new ones.
See you in July!!!!!

| Chris
Igneri,
Division Leader

Hello!
-My name is Chris Igneri I never had
the opportunity to attend camp when I was younger
so since I was good with kids I decided to apply
for a job at a camp about 7 years ago. This
is my sixth year upcoming at YPDC Staten Island.
I come back year after year because I enjoy
time with the children and the dedicated staff.
I
have worked for the NYC Department of Education
as a Para-professional in New Dorp high school
for the past 3 years. I plan to get my degree
in history/secondary education and teach in
high school.
I also coach for the New Dorp Cougars JV football
team. |
