Our Facilities
Young People's Day Camp of Queens maintains a number of facilities for campers to enjoy during our numerous activities, sports, and special events. Please note, that camp staff are only present at these facilities during camp hours while camp is in session. However, please feel free to visit us and meet our administrative staff at one of our open house & bowling parties.
Alley Pond Park (Bayside)
Young People's Day Camp of Queens is based out of the upper portion of Alley Pond Park. Located in South Bayside, the park offers more than 600 Acres of unspoiled outdoors right in the heart of Queens. The park features numerous ball fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, picnic areas and nature trails for our many sports and activities.

Indoor Site (PS 188)
Located in a quite residential community less than 5 minutes from Alley Pond Park Young People's Day Camp of Queens makes use of PS 188 for indoor activities, inclement weather, and special events. The school offers us a full size gymnasium, spacious auditorium, a music room, and large activites room.

Pool & Swim Facility
On swim days, Young People's Campers will enjoy use of a private swim facility consisting of an full olympic size pool and private locker facilities. Only Young People's Campers and Staff are permitted in the facility no outside bathers, spectators or other camps are permitted in the facility while in use by Young People's of Queens.
